About the role

The Data Operations engineer will be working as part of the Data Operations team and provide L1 support across all production applications. He\she will be involved in daily monitoring of all production jobs, troubleshooting, and fixing recurring failures as per the documentation within the SLA timelines and will also be working with the respective stakeholders in troubleshooting new failures. 


What will you be responsible for?

  • Provide Level 1 support for the system within agreed service levels.
  • Monitor the production jobs, collaborating with project team in fixing recurring failures.
  • Perform Basic Azure administration and Application reliability activities based on SOP and Knowledge base articiles.
  • Work with the respective stakeholders in identifying root cause of new failures and fixing them.
  • Identify avenues of process improvements, automation and propose recommendations to the management.

 

Who are we looking for?

•  Bachelor s/equivalent in Engineering

•  Monitoring batch jobs, fixing failures and comfortable in working over shifts

•  Technical knowledge:

  1. Anyone programming/scripting skill like C, C++, Unix shell etc.
  2. Azure administration
  3. Azure DevOps basic concepts
  4. Good SQL knowledge
  5. Basic knowledge in any of Operating systems like windows, linux etc. and databases concepts

•  Strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to think on your feet

•  Ability to adapt quickly, and maintain a positive attitude

•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
