Job Description – ServiceNow Developer (ITSM, Employee Center Pro & ITAM)

Role: ServiceNow Developer

Experience: 3–6 Years

Location: Hyderabad / Hybrid

Job Type: Full-Time


Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in ITSM, Employee Center Pro, and ITAM modules. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ServiceNow development, integrations, workflows, catalog development, and platform customization. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Implement and support ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
  • Design and enhance Employee Center Pro portals, widgets, and user experiences.
  • Configure and maintain ITAM functionalities including Asset Management and CMDB integrations.
  • Develop Service Catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer solutions, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
  • Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and release management activities.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and provide performance optimization recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Follow ServiceNow best practices and development standards.

Required Skills

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Strong experience in:
    • ITSM
    • Employee Center Pro
    • ITAM
  • Good knowledge of:
    • JavaScript
    • Glide APIs
    • Flow Designer
    • IntegrationHub
    • Service Portal / UI Builder
  • Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP integrations.
  • Experience in CMDB, Discovery, and Asset Management concepts.
  • Knowledge of ACLs, Data Policies, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Business Rules.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Preferred
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Good to have
  • ITSM/ITAM certifications – Added advantagels
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ownership and proactive attitude.
