Job Description – ServiceNow IRM Developer

Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow IRM Developer with hands-on experience in IRM/GRC modules to develop, customize, and support enterprise risk and compliance solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development along with a good understanding of risk, audit, and compliance processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and support ServiceNow IRM (Integrated Risk Management/GRC) modules including:
    • Risk Management
    • Policy & Compliance
    • Audit Management
    • Vendor Risk Management
  • Customize workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI components.
  • Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and risk metrics for compliance and governance tracking.
  • Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Support platform enhancements, defect fixes, and production issues.
  • Participate in instance upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Follow ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills

  • 2–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Experience working on ServiceNow IRM / GRC modules.
  • Strong experience in:
    • JavaScript
    • Business Rules
    • Client Scripts
    • Script Includes
    • Flow Designer / Workflows
  • Basic understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
  • Understanding of risk, compliance, and audit management concepts.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Good to Have

  • ServiceNow CSA / CAD certifications.
  • Exposure to ITSM modules.
  • Experience with IntegrationHub.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Soft Skills

  • Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • Team player with proactive attitude.
