Job Description – ServiceNow Developer (HRSD, Employee Workflows & Employee Center Pro)

Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in HRSD, Employee Workflows, and Employee Center Pro modules. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ServiceNow development, customization, integrations, and employee experience solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable HR and employee workflow solutions while ensuring platform best practices and high-quality implementations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow HRSD and Employee Workflows solutions.
  • Design and enhance Employee Center Pro portals and employee self-service experiences.
  • Configure HR Case Management, Lifecycle Events, Knowledge Management, and Employee Journeys.
  • Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer workflows.
  • Build and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
  • Customize Service Portal/UI Builder components and widgets as per business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Support platform enhancements, defect fixes, upgrades, and production support activities.
  • Follow ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Strong experience in:
    • HRSD
    • Employee Workflows
    • Employee Center Pro
  • Good knowledge of:
    • JavaScript
    • Glide APIs
    • Flow Designer
    • Service Portal / UI Builder
    • IntegrationHub
  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow CSA certification preferred.
  • CAD certification is a plus.
  • HRSD implementation experience is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Soft Skills

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong team collaboration and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
