ServiceNow Developer

Position Overview

The ServiceNow Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions across the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on Now Assist, Moveworks, Employeeworks, employee experience, and platform automation. This role requires hands-on ServiceNow coding experience, strong scripting capability, and the ability to build intelligent digital workflows, integrations, portals, and AI-enabled experiences that improve productivity, service delivery, and caregiver/user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, workflows, scripts, and automation on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Build and enhance AI-enabled experiences using Now Assist capabilities, including use cases that improve self-service, agent productivity, knowledge discovery, and workflow efficiency.
  • Support Moveworks and Employeeworks integrations and experiences to improve employee service delivery, conversational support, and end-user engagement.
  • Develop ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Create and enhance employee-facing experiences through Service Portal, Employee Center, catalog items, knowledge workflows, and guided service journeys.
  • Implement and configure ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, IntegrationHub, Employee Center, and AI-driven workflow capabilities.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and platform teams to convert requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and document ServiceNow solutions, integrations, AI use cases, and platform customizations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer with strong coding expertise on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Advanced JavaScript skills with practical experience in GlideRecord, GlideAjax, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience with Now Assist, AI-enabled workflows, virtual agent/conversational experiences, or intelligent automation use cases is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Moveworks and Employeeworks integrations, employee experience platforms, or enterprise conversational support solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, scripted integrations, data transformations, and external system connectivity.
  • Solid development experience with Service Portal, Employee Center, catalog items, knowledge workflows, and user experience customization.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clean technical designs, reusable components, and maintainable platform solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
