Job Title: Sr. Service Engineer - Power Platform

Location: [Hyderabad] Job Type: [Full-time/Contract] Department: ESI Reports To: IT Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Power Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage Microsoft Power Platform solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, ensuring seamless automation and data-driven decision-making across the business. This role requires a proactive approach to optimizing workflows, integrating data sources, and developing custom applications while ensuring security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain applications and automation workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Implement governance policies, security settings, and compliance controls for Power Platform solutions.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide business insights and data analytics.
  • Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and third-party tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Power Platform-related issues, optimizing performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement automation solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and security using Dataverse and other data sources.
  • Monitor service health and performance, responding to incidents and escalations.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and best practices to enhance Power Platform adoption.
  • Stay up to date with Power Platform updates, new features, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience developing and managing Microsoft Power Platform solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, and Azure AD.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Knowledge of API integrations, connectors, and workflow automation best practices.
  • Familiarity with security, compliance, and governance best practices for Power Platform.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to train and support end-users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-100: Power Platform App Maker, PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant, or PL-400: Power Platform Developer.
  • Experience with AI Builder, Power Virtual Agents, and RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
  • Background in ITIL practices and service management.
  • Experience working in hybrid cloud/on-premises environments.
