Organization Background:

The Cloud Engineering and Ops team owns and drive cloud migrations, handle engineering tasks, manage OnPrem hosting, oversee compute and storage, ensure data protection, and carry out data engineering for the Technology, Engineering & Operations organization. Our team provides support for both OnPrem and Azure cloud infrastructures running on Windows and Linux virtual machines (VMs) as well as managing SQL and Oracle databases.

 

What will you be responsible for?

  • Design and implement microservices to enable real time, highly scalable, performant, and sustainable solutions.
  • Deliver well-tested features across many different services and platforms.
  • Use engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle to establish maintainable, reliable, and secure systems.
  • Manipulate, collate, and analyze complex, high dimensional data from varying sources to solve difficult problems.
  • Collaborate with teammates in various roles to plan and execute on key deliverables.
  • Work in a culture of continuous improvement, adaptation, reflection, and growth
  • Learn quickly from your peers, projects, and interactions with customers.

 

What would your day look like?

  • Develop and maintain an Azure-based cloud and On-premises solution.
  • Collaborate with architects, data engineers and analysts to identify, engage, and integrate various data sources, where necessary and define services that empower business processes.
  • Design and develop user experiences using front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (such as Angular, React, or Vue.js).
  • Develop and maintain efficient, reusable back-end microservices using C# and the .NET framework and database operations using SQL.
  • Create, consume or integrate different services and APIs with external systems.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Must have 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong with Microsoft .Net Technologies (C#, .Net Framework) or Java.
  • Front-end experience with Angular, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with SQL databases or other relational database systems, including data modeling.
  • Excellent coding skills, strong in OOPS, OOAD, design patterns and their application
  • Experience with Agile Productivity tools like ADO/Git.
  • Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Experience delivering scalable and resilient Cloud-native services at large enterprise scale.
  • Strong coding, debugging and problem-solving skills.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with building and deploying using Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, End to End Multi-tier application provisioning.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and event driven architectures
  • Able to work efficiently, prioritize workflow, and meet deadlines.
  • Good communications skills; able to share complex ideas with other teams.
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and drive for clarity.
