We, at Enterprise Services, the healthcare consulting and services arm of Providence India, help build technology solutions that modernize and simplify each step of the healthcare delivery process. And we do that by putting the patient and the provider at the center of everything we do. What will you be responsible for?

  • Installs user applications on XenApp and XenDesktop, publishes applications, and creates new user groups for applications.
  • Assist configuring active directory group policies and Citrix policies.
  • Assist in designs and constructs Citrix infrastructure.
  • Installs, configures, upgrades, and maintains Citrix Xenserver, Xen Application, Xen Desktop, Provisioning, Licensing, Terminal Servers, Storefront, Netscaler (Citrix vpx).
  • Builds and maintains test farm, production farm, and disaster recovery environment.
  • Builds hardware replacements.
  • Supports vendor and departments in application upgrades.  Tracks Citrix and terminal server licenses.
  • Performs monitoring, alerting, reporting, and trending.  Monitors and assists with the proactive identification and resolution of problems. Assists with the collection of data and establishing facts in order to determine the cause of these problems. 
  • Performs preventative maintenance while providing maximum availability.  This includes patching, updates, and/or configuration changes.
  • Ability to work with other virtualization platforms such as VMWare Horizon and Azure VDI.
  • May be required to be on call or scheduled to work outside of normal business hours.
  • Participates in the change control process, as required.
  • Performs advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows platforms, Active Directory, Citrix Active Directory, DNS and GPO.
  • Strong knowledge of Citrix ADC/NetScaler Secure Gateway

Who are we looking for?

  • 3-5 years of experience with strong technical depth in Citrix virtual desktops, VMware, and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Hands on experience with Virtualization technology, Active directory and domain, database connections, terminal servers, Citrix Xen app, Xen desktop, farms, Zones, IIS, Security, Certificates Group Policy, Citrix policy, Citrix workload and balancing, Networking and Xen Server Host (operations, functionality, and clustering).
  • Thin Client using Virtual Desktop Interface Technology
  • Detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks and heavy workloads efficiently.
  • Experience in several of the following areas: Scripting, PowerShell, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, Certificates (PKI), Application configurations
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, 802.1q tagging, routing protocols preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent education/experience
