How is this team contributing to the vision of Providence?

  • Finance team is the strategic partner to business leaders helping them achieve and sustain rapid growth through optimal allocation of financial resources

What will you be responsible for?

  • Prepare Business Unit level reports for tracking monthly financial performance across dimensions such as spend, headcount and CPH.
  • Help build annual budgets and forecasts and, share insights with Business Unit Leaders to drive conformance with budget and enable decisions supporting growth
  • Proactively analyze and observe the trends in financial and non-financial data driving P & L performance and propose ways to create cost efficiencies
  • Understand the current Finance processes including upstream and downstream dependencies and hand-offs, identify opportunities for creating efficiencies and work with relevant stakeholders to bring transformation  

What would your day look like?

  • Take part in the annual budgeting exercise. Summarize the current state of affairs and simulate cost projections for alternate growth strategies
  • Produce monthly internal financial statements with variance analysis and insightful commentary and present to business leaders and global finance partners. Be agile and quickly adapt to the business requirement and provide ad-hoc analytics and reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all non-financial data forming the basis for financial projections
  • Identify the gaps, come up with solutions and collaborate with accounting team to improve the accuracy of the financial data and create/update SOPs
  • Provide financial reporting to and partner with enabling functions like HR, Sourcing, Real Estate and Work Place teams for optimal utilization of central budgets
  • Design metrics and KPIs to measure efficiencies in FTE and Non-FTE costs  incurred across segments and functions and report to the business leaders

Who we are looking for?

  • CA / MBA with specialization in Finance
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in Business Finance roles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Maturity to handle regional and global stakeholders across the hierarchy 
  • Ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data in Excel
