Role Overview

The TA PMO / TA Operations & Analytics Specialist will support the Talent Acquisition function by driving data accuracy, operational discipline, and analytics adoption across hiring activities. This role will focus on hands-on execution, building strong foundations in data governance, dashboarding, and process efficiency, while enabling the TA team to make data-backed hiring decisions.

The role is designed for a mid-level professional who can own reporting, dashboards, and process governance, work closely with recruiters and TA leads, and gradually build capability toward predictive and insight-led analytics.


Key Responsibilities


1. Data Governance & Talent Intelligence

Building reliable TA data foundations

  • Maintain and manage TA data accuracy and consistency across ATS, trackers, and reporting tools
  • Support the establishment of a single source of truth for TA metrics and dashboards
  • Ensure standard definitions for key TA metrics such as: but not limited to
    • Requisition aging
    • Time-to-hire
    • Funnel conversion
    • Offer acceptance
  • Conduct regular data audits and hygiene checks, highlighting gaps and discrepancies
  • Coordinate with HRIS / TA Tech teams to:
    • Resolve data issues
    • Improve system usage and data capture
  • Assist in basic talent intelligence analysis, including:
    • Historical hiring trends
    • Demand vs. supply indicators
    • Skill-based hiring patterns
  • Prepare structured data inputs to support future predictive hiring models

2. Delivery Excellence & Operational Performance

Ensuring consistent and measurable TA operations

  • Support governance of end-to-end TA processes, including demand intake, sourcing, interviewing, and offer stages
  • Track and report TA performance metrics and SLAs at recruiter, team, and function levels
  • Create and maintain operational trackers, dashboards, and scorecards
  • Support weekly/monthly hiring reviews and TA cadence meetings with accurate insights and highlights
  • Identify process inefficiencies or bottlenecks and flag improvement opportunities using data
  • Assist in driving standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for TA processes
  • Monitor vendor and partner performance metrics and support review discussions
  • Act as a PMO support for TA initiatives, ensuring timely tracking of actions, risks, and outcomes

3. TA Analytics & Dashboarding

From reporting to actionable insights

  • Build and maintain TA dashboards using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Convert raw data into clear, easy-to-understand visualizations and insights
  • Provide trend-based insights, including:
    • Hiring velocity
    • Funnel drop-offs
    • Offer declines
    • Recruiter /Sourcer productivity

         

 

  • Support TA leadswith data-backed narratives for leadership and business updates
  • Enable self-serve reporting for recruiters and managers by simplifying dashboards and metrics
  • Gradually develop capability in predictive indicators, such as:
    • Expected time-to-fill
    • Hiring risk flags
    • Capacity constraints
  • Contribute to improving data literacy within the TA team

Stakeholder Interaction

  • Work closely with:
    • Recruiters and Sourcing teams
    • TA Managers and Leads
    • HR Operations / HRIS teams
    • External vendors (as required)
  • Act as a go-to person for TA data, dashboards, and reporting
  • Support decision-making through facts, trends, and insights

Skills & Competencies

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition metrics and processes
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • ATS platforms (SF)
    • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic modeling)
    • BI tools (Power BI/Tableau preferred)
  • Ability to work with large datasets and maintain data integrity
  • Basic understanding of analytics concepts (trends, correlations, forecasting fundamentals)

Process & Execution Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and operational rigor
  • Ability to manage multiple reports, dashboards, and deadlines
  • Structured and methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Comfort working in fast-paced hiring environments

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in:
    • Talent Acquisition Operations/Analytics
    • TA Analytics / Reporting
    • HR Operations / HR Analytics-  TA Operations and Analytics
  • Exposure to large-scale, tech, or volume hiring environments preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Analytics, HR, Engineering, or related fields preferred)
