Job Title:  Analyst (Finance)

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking Analyst (Finance) to join our Shared Services FP&A/Management Reporting team, responsible to maintain and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This position includes performing operations, meeting SLA and targets, data analysis, report generation, and collaboration with various stakeholders to support the operation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the global stakeholders to process and ensure accurate recording (Accruals, Amortization, Allocation, Reclass, etc), reporting, consolidation and analyzing reports pertaining to General ledger accounting
  • Active participation in performing the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.
  • Processing varied nature of business accruals (PO and Non-PO) pertaining to other current liabilities and other current assets (like purchased services, supplies).
  • Processing of Statistical entries.
  • Group reporting and consolidation.
  • Preparing monthly close reports & variance analysis of various Providence entities to ensure the numbers are materially accurate
  • Extract, modify and analyze monthly reports as required and resolve queries.
  • Perform General ledger related audit deliverables during audit.
  • Periodic updation of SOP's to make sure any process changes, exceptions and new learnings are updated timely.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

 

Education: Preferably CMA / MBA / M.com / Semi qualified with 2 to 4 years (or) CA / CPA with 1 to 2 years of experience in General ledger accounting

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, VBA preferred).
  • Experience with Power BI for data uploading and reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial processes such as accruals, amortizations, and allocations.
  • Ability to handle large datasets and maintain data integrity.

Other Skills:

  • Strong logical and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in working with global stakeholders .
  • High-performance creativity and “optimistic” personality.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in maintaining data accuracy and producing error-free reports.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset to build strong and enduring relationship to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Quick learner : Able to learn and understand end to end General ledger accounting processes and system for high quality performance.
  • Communication : Transparent communications, and alignment between diverse constituents.
  • ERP : Experience on working with Oracle ERP would be a plus.
