Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Cloud Security Engineer - 3P)

 

Role Summary:

 Seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with strong expertise in cloud security architecture, governance, and security program execution. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical SME capable of driving cloud security strategy, implementing enterprise security controls, and partnering with engineering teams to secure Azure-based and hybrid cloud environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Lead cloud security initiatives, governance programs, and security transformation efforts across enterprise cloud platforms.

Design and implement secure cloud architectures aligned with Zero Trust and industry security best practices.

Develop and enforce cloud security guardrails using Azure Policy, security baselines, and governance frameworks.

Implement and maintain Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities to continuously improve cloud security posture.

Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices using Terraform and cloud automation technologies.

Partner with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and Application teams to embed security into cloud platforms, services, and delivery pipelines.

 

Required Skills:

 

Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure security, cloud architecture, and enterprise cloud governance.

Deep experience with CSPM platforms such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or equivalent solutions.

Strong knowledge of Azure Policy, RBAC, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud, and cloud-native security controls.

Experience securing cloud workloads, networking, containers, Kubernetes, storage, and platform services.

Proficiency with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and DevSecOps principles.

Proven ability to lead cloud security programs, drive technical strategy, and influence security outcomes across large-scale enterprise environments.
