below is the JD for Data engineer 2P.How is this team contributing to the vision of Providence?Providence Health care analytics and engineering (HAE) focuses on creating the depth in engineering and analytics across the organization. We work to democratize health care data to empower the consumers to transform care delivery, care outcome and care experience. We focus on applying engineering fundamentals to create the technology needed for patients to have easy access to the health care services. We serve the organization as the analytics center of excellence by focusing on operational, equity and value-based care analytics.What will you be responsible for?Working closely with global teams to determine data reporting and analysis requirements.Identifying the data sources, business rules, ETL requirements.Design and develop data platform, reporting solutions on time and with high qualityIntegrating structured and unstructured data from multiple systems to create a single source of truthImplement POC’s for newer technology solutions and implement various data engineering SolutionsData analysis, writing complex SQL queries and creating data pipelinesPerform and review standards, own complicated modules, and establish design and development approach as neededGuide other Data Engineers by coaching and mentoring team members toWhat would your Workday look like?Closely work with team on the delivery, roadmap execution while continuously looking to evolve the product.Participate in the data product lifecycle activities including research, proof of concepts, architect, design, develop, test, deploy and maintenance.Partner with Global Engineering teams on shared goals and focus on the outcomes with a collaborative mindset.Design and develop modular, flexible, scalable, secure, reliable, and quality solutions that deliver business value. Reuse the components wherever possible and sharing of components across organization.  Who are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferredKnowledge of SQL and NoSQL databasesHigh Proficiency on cloud technologies & infrastructure, preferably AzureExperience working in SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Power BI and PythonExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentExperience collaborating with global stakeholders to drive data and platform requirementsProficient in Database design and performance improvement conceptsAbility to troubleshoot technical problems, demonstrate problem solvingAbility to effectively communicate and excellent interpersonal skillsExperience working in Agile/sprints in a global team setupPrior experience in Healthcare industry is preferred
