Providence does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, disability, veteran, military status, religion, age, creed, national origin, sexual identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, genetic information, or any other basis prohibited by local, state, or federal law.What will you be responsible for?A Senior Data Engineer in Digital Workspace Experiences group will have the following responsibilities:Analyze large amount of raw information to find patterns, undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.Build Cloud Azure data pipeline and establish data processing standards for the HR/Financial/Strategy teams data.Help our team build predictive models and experimental design to support Providence Global Center Initiatives.Work with speed in an Agile framework.Identify improvements, develop and design tools that will streamline the service to improve end-user experiences and lower operating costs.Partner with PGC business teams on shared goals and focus on the outcomes with a collaborative mindset.Who are we looking for?3 - 5 years of experience in Data EngineeringStrong Knowledge of ADF, Python object-oriented programming, Python design patterns, Python packages, PySpark, SQL, Linux, and Shell scripting2+ years hands on experience querying large datasets using SQL, Python and/or scala Python, DataBricks and PySparkWorking experience on Azure Databricks, Data Factory and Azure SnowflakeStrong knowledge of Azure platform (Implementing storage solution, implementing data processing solutions and monitoring/optimizing data processing solutions)Experience working with large datasets and building data processing platformsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities, problem-solving skillsBS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
