Job Description

The Principal PM for Healthcare Intelligence will oversee the ideation, planning and execution of the Providence Healthcare Intelligence products and services, leveraging best-in class technology and systems; includes cloud computing, big data, mobile, data science, and modern software development methodologies and frameworks.


The Principal PM for Healthcare Intelligence will partner with stakeholders across the business and product teams. The individual will work to create meaningful data-driven products lead a dedicated, and be responsible for:

 

  • Conducting research for building hypothesis-driven smart data products
  • Conduct US healthcare market assessments and user/customer interviews
  • Frame most valuable healthcare problems that can be addressed with analytics solutions
  • Productize analytics solutions
  • Feature prioritization and road map planning
  • Running design sprints & and user testing
  • Translating business-to-technical requirements, and vice versa
  • Defining and tracking success metrics
  • Mentoring product managers and product owners


Detailed Responsibilities

  • Providing product management and business systems analysis for transformational initiatives, capability enhancements, and partnership.
  • Drive the health care intelligence product innovation agenda, working closely with product development and other allied teams.
  • Envision products, create product roadmaps and ensure successful product increment launches by working with diverse stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates to leadership, escalating items when needed but with presence and relationships to identify and resolve most issues independently
  • Knowledgeably and successfully present our strategy, roadmap and current progress /actions to senior executive audiences inside the company
  • Foster, facilitate, and furnish, timely decision     -making across a broad network of stakeholders, delivery partners, and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with security, architecture, engineering, quality, support, experience, program, and infrastructure partners in coordinating delivery of complex, multi-year initiatives
  • Accountability for team integrity, product excellence, decision making, delivery estimates and roadmaps, career development, communications, and project outcomes.
  • The position is based in Hyderabad and requires flexible work shift schedule to accommodate North American meetings.

 

Who we’re looking for:

 

  • The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of product design and engineering experience, with 6+ years of product management experience especially in curating data products.
  • Deep knowledge of US healthcare system, care delivery models, compliance aspects
  • Deep experience working with technology products planning and implementation for problem scenarios in healthcare and life science domain is a critical capability.
  • Ability to operate in a startup mode, structure ambiguous, open-ended problems & analyzing data to discover user needs, most valuable use cases and curating product related insights.
  • Ability to own the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product, and be able to work autonomously
  • Capability to translate problem, data & user research into developing innovative features & solutions.
  • Ability to work nimbly across multiple projects, with fast-paced iterative product development cycles.
  • Impressive verbal communication and presentation skills and at ease with business as well as technical audiences.
  • Ability to tune written communication for clear and concise product related documentation as well as for general business communications.

 

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Experience in healthcare management and life sciences domain.
  • Experience in Data Competency-data collection, extraction and analytics.
  • Certifications in Product Management/Agile/Scrum.
  • Familiarity with EHR Modules  and cloud product development
  • Experience in User research, UX Prototyping would be considered a bonus.
  • Working knowledge of statistical and ML modelling would be considered a bonus.
  • Knowledge of healthcare delivery models in non-US markets will be considered a bonus
