How is this team contributing to the vision of Providence?
 

The Emerging Tech Automation team is focused on identifying and implementing automation opportunities across multiple business functions to improve operational efficiency and caregiver experience. The team works closely with stakeholders to develop process and test bots that optimize workflows and reduce manual effort, leveraging industry-leading RPA tools and AI-driven automation solutions.
 

What will you be responsible for?
 

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions using UiPath Suite, including UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center, and Test Suite.
  • Define automation architecture and best practices for scalable, robust, and secure bot development.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and peer learning sessions to uplift team capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users, and SMEs to identify high-impact automation opportunities and drive automation strategy.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end automation workflows, queues, transactions, and triggers in UiPath Orchestrator for optimized bot execution.
  • Ensure best practices in exception handling, logging, error recovery, and bot maintenance to support resilient automation solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues, providing advanced debugging and performance optimization.
  • Work with IT, security, and compliance teams to enforce access controls, governance policies, and risk management in bot deployment.
  • Stay updated on the latest RPA trends, AI-driven automation advancements, and industry best practices to continuously enhance automation solutions.
  • Drive process mining, intelligent automation, and AI-based enhancements to extend automation capabilities beyond traditional RPA.
     

What would your day look like?
 

  • Report to the RPA Lead and provide strategic guidance on automation implementation.
  • Work on designing, optimizing, and deploying high-complexity automation workflows.
  • Oversee and enhance existing automation solutions by analyzing performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including PDDs (Process Design Documents) and SDDs (Solution Design Documents) for governance and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead discussions on automation feasibility, scalability, and roadmap planning with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, fostering innovation in automation strategies.
     

Who are we looking for?
 

  • 6+ years of experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using UiPath.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex automation solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with automation solutions in healthcare (huge plus).
  • Deep expertise in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, ReFramework, Document Understanding, and Test Suite.
  • Strong understanding of automation architecture, process re-engineering, and governance frameworks.
  • UiPath UiARD Certification or similar certification (preferred, a huge plus).
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and integration with enterprise applications (preferred).
  • Expertise in AI-driven automation, including Agentic Automation, Document Understanding, Process Mining, and Intelligent Process Automation (huge plus).
  • Ability to analyze, debug, and optimize bot performance, ensuring high reliability and scalability.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to lead automation initiatives and mentor junior team members.
