We are a group of engineers focused on deploying and maintaining business critical healthcare applications. We focus on supporting platforms, services, and products for the entire enterprise of 119K Providence caregivers (employees). We drive Service Maturity/ Quality of Service, Reporting & Analytics, 3rd Party SaaS (Software as a Service) products integrations and services for transforming experience of our caregivers and enabling them to improve care outcomes for our patients. What will you be responsible for?

 

  • Enabling monitoring, driving resiliency, performance, high availability, and reliability
  • Support critical services, debug incidents and mitigate customer impact.
  • Analyze trends to identify patterns/top incident drivers and root cause analysis
  • Architecture review with software and security teams, building CI/CD pipelines for deployments, managing infrastructure components like networks, operating system, storage, and databases across the ecosystem.
  • Identify service improvements, automate, and design tools that will streamline the service to improve end-user experiences and lower operating costs

 

What would your day look like?

 

  • You will have the opportunity to partner with Software Engineers, Security Architects and Product Management teams for Quality of Service of mission critical applications
  • Ensure production solutions are reliable, resilient, secure, and effective, while ensuring implemented solutions are continuously monitored and documented
  • Engage in disaster recovery drills, gap analysis and implementing corrective measures
  • Participate as needed in incident response management including during non-working hours for business continuity

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Hands-on experience in deployments, CICD pipeline setup, Azure DevOps, Azure fundamentals, SQL server, Databricks/Snowflake, environment management
  • Strong scripting and coding skills with PowerShell DSC/ Python or programming languages such as C#
  • Good to have knowledge of Apps Services and Cloud Technologies.
  • Ability to write simple/complex SQL queries, with knowledge of RDBMS concepts
  • Effective verbal/written communication, ability to articulate effectively 
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing landscapes and acquire new skills with technology advancement
