ServiceNow Developer

IRM / BCM / SecOps

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in IRM, BCM, SecOps, Operational Resilience, Privacy Management, and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) to develop, customize, and support enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience across governance, risk, compliance, resilience, and security domains. The role requires building scalable workflows, integrations, automation capabilities, and operational dashboards aligned with enterprise governance and cyber-security objectives.


Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows across IRM, BCM, SecOps, and Operational Resilience modules.
  • Develop solutions using:
    • JavaScript
    • Glide API
    • Script Includes
    • Business Rules
    • Client Scripts
    • UI Policies
    • Flow Designer
    • IntegrationHub
  • Build reusable and scalable components following ServiceNow best practices.

IRM / GRC Development

  • Configure and implement ServiceNow IRM capabilities including:
    • Risk Management
    • Policy & Compliance
    • Audit Management
    • Regulatory Change Management (RCM)
  • Develop workflows for:
    • Risk assessments
    • Controls management
    • Compliance monitoring
    • Issue remediation
    • Attestation processes
  • Support enterprise governance and compliance automation initiatives.

Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)

  • Configure and enhance TPRM workflows for vendor lifecycle management and risk evaluation.
  • Implement vendor onboarding/offboarding workflows using structured questionnaires and assessment processes.
  • Support automation of vendor risk scoring, due diligence tracking, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
  • Integrate external vendor risk and security compliance signals into ServiceNow workflows.
  • Support reporting and dashboarding for third-party risk visibility.

Business Continuity Management (BCM)

  • Develop and support BCM capabilities including:
    • Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
    • Disaster Recovery planning
    • Crisis management workflows
    • Recovery procedures
  • Configure continuity plans, recovery objectives, testing schedules, and resilience workflows.
  • Support operational resilience and continuity readiness initiatives through workflow automation.

Regulatory Change Management (RCM)

  • Configure workflows and automation for monitoring and managing regulatory and legislative changes.
  • Support ingestion and mapping of regulatory updates to controls, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Automate impact assessment workflows and remediation tracking for regulatory changes.
  • Enable traceability between regulations, controls, risks, and business processes.

Operational Resilience Management

  • Develop workflows supporting enterprise operational resilience initiatives.
  • Configure tracking and monitoring for resilience pillars across:
    • People
    • Processes
    • Technology
    • Facilities
  • Support operational health monitoring, resilience dashboards, and disruption management workflows.
  • Enable visibility into business service dependencies and resilience metrics.

Privacy Management

  • Configure and enhance ServiceNow Privacy Management workflows and risk assessments.
  • Support privacy impact assessments (PIA) and personal data risk management processes.
  • Integrate privacy risks and controls into the enterprise risk management framework.
  • Develop workflows supporting data protection, compliance, and remediation activities.

Continuous Authorization & Monitoring (CAM)

  • Implement and support CAM workflows for regulated and compliance-focused environments.
  • Develop risk management workflows aligned to frameworks such as:
    • RMF
    • FedRAMP
    • Continuous compliance monitoring
  • Support automated control validation, evidence collection, and ongoing compliance assessments.
  • Configure integrations and monitoring workflows for compliance tracking and audit readiness.

Security Operations (SecOps)

  • Develop and support ServiceNow SecOps solutions including:
    • Security Incident Response (SIR)
    • Vulnerability Response
    • Threat Intelligence integrations
  • Configure workflows for incident triage, remediation, escalation, and vulnerability management.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with SIEM, monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and security platforms.
  • Support automation of security processes and operational response workflows.

Integrations & Automation

  • Build REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise applications, governance systems, and security platforms.
  • Configure IntegrationHub and MID Server integrations.
  • Develop automated workflows and orchestration capabilities using Flow Designer.
  • Support enterprise data synchronization and workflow automation initiatives.

Platform Support & Governance

  • Participate in code reviews and follow ServiceNow development standards and governance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform and application issues.
  • Support upgrades, patches, releases, and deployment activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support QA/testing activities.
  • Collaborate with architects, administrators, business users, and security teams during implementation and support phases.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–12 years of overall IT experience with strong ServiceNow development expertise.
