This team plays a pivotal role in advancing Providence’s vision by delivering innovative, user-centered digital experiences. Comprising Engineers, Producers, QA specialists, and Project Managers, the team is dedicated to building scalable, secure, and high-performing web platforms that empower patients, enhance digital engagement, and elevate stakeholder satisfaction.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Sitecore Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise-scale web platforms built using Sitecore CMS and Microsoft technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, UX, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality digital solutions aligned with business and user needs.

You will be responsible for developing Sitecore components, templates, and integrations, maintaining existing applications, and ensuring performance, security, and accessibility best practices across digital experiences.

What would your week look like?

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy web solutions using Sitecore CMS, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server .
  • Build and maintain Sitecore components, templates, renderings, and content structures
  • Collaborate with UX, QA, and product teams to implement approved digital enhancements
  • Support and enhance existing applications following established SDLC and release processes
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of production issues
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, accessibility, security, and performance guidelines
  • Assist with deployments and environment support on Azure-hosted platforms
  • Document technical solutions and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Seek opportunities for automation, optimization, and operational efficiency

Who we are looking for?

  • 3–6 years of experience in web application development using Microsoft technologies
  • Hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS (10 preferred) or similar enterprise CMS platforms
  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET / MVC, and SQL Server
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web standards
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Experience hosting or supporting applications on IIS
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines and deployments
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices
  • Exposure to Sitecore upgrades, personalization, or performance optimization
  • Familiarity with design patterns and basic architectural concepts
